The Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation is committed to helping patients with their recovery from psychiatric disorders. The Department is pleased to offer a range of programs that aim to enhance quality of life by improving functioning and increasing opportunities in social, educational and vocational life roles. Our expert and dedicated staff are available during all phases of psychiatric illness, recovery and rehabilitation to help patients achieve their own personal steps toward recovery.

The Department is also dedicated to research, having its own research division, the Center for Neuropsychiatric Outcome and Rehabilitation Research (CENORR). CENORR is dedicated to helping clarify the barriers to functional recovery, exploring new methods for improving functional outcomes, and using new knowledge to improve outcomes, as well as to enhance program evaluation and outcome assessment.
